Dr. True and Clinvest are seeking motivated research volunteers in the Springfield area. The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of oral zavegepant in chronic migraine prevention. Qualified volunteers will be randomized to either the investigational product or placebo. Completion of the study would involve coming into the office for 7 appointments over an approximate 24-week period that will include the use of a daily headache diary. You will also need to be able to take your study medication first thing in the morning, at least 1 hour prior to a meal. Your first appointment would last approximately 2 hours. If you continue to qualify, you will be asked to return in 4 weeks. If you qualify and choose to participate, we would provide the investigational product and all study-related procedures at no cost to you (including basic study-related physical exams, bloodwork, ECG’s, urine drug/pregnancy tests, and nutritional counseling). Compensation may be provided for your time and travel.
