What Should I Expect?
Dr. True and Clinvest are seeking motivated research volunteers in the Springfield area. The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Deucravacitinib when compared with placebo in participants with active psoriatic arthritis who have never taken a biologic DMARD medication. Qualified volunteers will be assigned to either the study drug or deucravacitinib. Your first appointment would last approximately 2.5 hours. Completion of the study would involve a 28-day screening/lead-in period. If you continue to qualify, you will be asked to return for 14 visits over a 52-week treatment period. During the first 16 weeks you may get study drug or placebo. During weeks 16-52 all participants will receive study drug. After week 52, there is an option for an additional 2-year open label extension.
